Hey everyone! I’m reaching out for advice because I’ve been struggling with some frustrating issues lately. Over the past month, I’ve been trying to resolve these problems in Deus Ex and Riot Games. The main issue I’m facing is that both games run smoothly at over 60fps, but suddenly they stutter heavily for about two seconds before returning to normal. This seems more frequent in Deus Ex. I’m playing both on a DSX12 without any additional software.
My system specs are: Ryzen 1600X @3.8GHz, 1.25GHz overclock, new BIOS from Corsair Vengeance (2x8GB RGB), 2933MHz RGB, G650M Bronze power supply, Asus X370 Pro motherboard, GTX1080 Aorus 8GB, stock RAM, installed on a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD. CPU temps max 52°C, GPU temps max 65°C.
I’ve tried several fixes: reinstalling Windows 10 64-bit multiple times, updating drivers, installing only essentials (just drivers and updates), setting the power plan to Ryzen balanced, and adjusting performance settings.
On a side note, I’ve heard that this might be related to a Ryzen-NVGA optimization problem. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Yes, it reduces the frame rate below 60fps and offers greater stability with fewer interruptions.
It looks like after checking more online discussions, the problem remains consistent with the 1080 settings. Appreciate your responses!
