Hello everyone, I recently moved from an RX580 to an RX 6750XT and paired it with a Ryzen 5 3600. I was aware that the latter could be a limitation, but I wanted to test it out before upgrading my CPU. So far, I haven’t found much satisfaction. Some titles like Rainbow Six Siege are running smoothly at 250-350FPS on ultra, while others struggle. Fortnite is performing decently at around 50-60FPS with the recommended settings, and Microsoft Flight Simulator is lagging at about 50 FPS—roughly 10-20 FPS less than my previous setup. I’m not sure if driver issues or unusual settings are the problem, or if this upgrade has truly hit a ceiling.

Settings adjusted to a balanced level. Most people don’t push everything to the highest setting, and there’s no need to force new drivers over the old ones. Did you reinstall your previous drivers or simply stack the newer ones on top?

I think your current game configurations are limiting your performance; skip Ultra. I’d also look for reviews mentioning the 3600 to check if your outcomes match. By this stage, the 3600 is outdated and won’t give you the advantages of a newer chip.

It's interesting though, because I'm watching the same CPU and GPU setup as your videos and achieving more than double my FPS at the same high settings.

Are you relying on YouTube clips to represent your data? That’s a very small sample size—definitely not ideal for comparison. Did you include DDU?

RAM and overclocking are separate topics. Let me know if you'd like details on either!

I'm observing several clips showing faster frame rates compared to my setup.

I haven’t done any overclocking yet, just the XMP setting enabled in the BIOS.

Your RAM speed is what it is, and the other builds are noticeably faster.
