Hello everyone. I recently installed the Benq XL2411Z monitor and set it to 144Hz. I added it as my primary display while keeping the old one nearby for reference on team chat, chat logs, and system stats. Since I mostly play CSGO, I noticed a significant drop in frames—around 300-275 FPS with one monitor, falling to 180-150 with two. It sometimes stutters or feels like only 30 FPS. This is unusual for dual monitors; one for gaming and another for random tasks. I also tested Battlefield 4 with both displays, which ran smoothly. Should I keep using two monitors or revert to a single one? My system specs are an Intel i5-4670, Radeon HD 7990, 16GB RAM, Windows 7 Pro.

It might be the drivers, VRAM problem, or possibly just the cable—sometimes poor optimization in CS:GO for dual monitors is the culprit.

Ensure your screen refresh rate stays consistent; a second monitor shouldn’t impact gaming performance since most titles run on a single display.
