My display is experiencing choppy performance. I’m 100% confident this isn’t a hardware problem. I tested three monitors on the same computer and all showed the same issue, with varying refresh rates. On another machine, the problem persisted regardless of settings. It seems the frames are unstable, and during online UFO tests the effect resembles rapid back-and-forth movement, along with background distortion. This occurs at every refresh rate and speed. My BIOS is up to date, and I’ve used both freeSync and VSync. The latest NVIDIA drivers worked on both systems. I’ve tried older drivers, DDU, power cycling the GPU, changing ports, reinstalling Windows, and even using a different program that showed frame timing jumping from 6 to 200ms. My specs are R5 7600 and RTX 4070. The issue also appeared on an older PC, which was much worse. It happens in games too, but it improves when background apps run or when I cap FPS at 360. At 144Hz displays, 240fps is still laggy, while 360 fps works fine. Thank you all for your support. This problem began a few days ago.
