I have an i3 7100 with a 3.4ghz processor connected to the RX 570 4GB RAM. My CPU usage is around 70-90% while the GPU stays between 50-70%. I recognize my CPU is underpowered and would need to upgrade it, but the motherboard seems faulty too. In RDR2, I experience constant full GPU utilization even when CPU stays below 60%. Performance drops significantly at lower settings, usually around 30-40 FPS regardless of resolution. Forza Horizon 4 also runs smoothly. My hardware includes an i3 7100, RX 570, 2x4GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, and an HDD from Asus H110M-CS.

It seems the issue isn't with the CPU but rather the GPU, causing a bottleneck in RDR2. Your notes about posting details might be conflicting with this explanation.

I’m sure I can install an older I5 or even a locked i7 on that system, but it depends on your choice. Regarding GTA 5, the big tanks look like grass and have basic texture details. Grass is pretty obvious, but normal textures are more complicated. They’re reduced in size quickly during gameplay, which forces the CPU to work harder. Many players notice higher FPS with lower settings, which reduces the strain on the processor. Overall, what I see matches typical performance for GTA 5 at that hardware. As @Kavamale21 mentioned, your graphics card is likely limited in RDR2 (which performs better in this case).
