When I start playing Cod, everything works smoothly in my first session. But after a while, my FPS begins to drop to around 25-30 instead of the usual 70-80. This is puzzling because my friend has similar hardware and uses the same graphics settings, yet he runs the game consistently at about 70fps. Also, I’m unsure how much this affects performance, but in Warzone my GPU lags at 10ms and CPU at 25-30ms, while my friend’s components run at 10ms each. My setup details are: Reyzen 5 3600 1660TI with 16GB DDR4 RAM (4x4GB) and Kingston NV1 SSD installed on it; ASUS ROG Strix B450-F. My friend’s specs are: Reyzen 5 3600 1660 16GB DDR4 RAM (2x8GB) without an SSD, Asus Phantom Gaming with two X570 graphics cards.

It appears the system is consuming excessive CPU power. While that might seem extreme, I’d suggest resetting your boot partition and performing a fresh Windows installation for a clean start.

a faulty ssd might lead to these issues. there isn't a clear solution to diagnose it properly. you might try running multiple speed tests; significant differences between results could raise concerns. alternatively, swapping in a new drive and installing windows would likely resolve the problem.

It's understandable to feel uncertain after a system reset. You might want to double-check your installation steps and ensure everything was saved before proceeding.

It means your SSD is not functioning properly or has been damaged. If it's a recent purchase, it might still be under warranty or need repair.

It's often tricky to identify since the S.M.A.R.T. data seems normal, but it's actually inaccurate. The best way to verify is through performance tests or swapping the drive.
