Performance issues in Cyberpunk 2077 on an i7 7700K and 3070 processor, likely due to bottlenecks.
You're experiencing performance issues with Cyberpunk 2077 on your system. Despite adjusting settings to low, medium, or high, you consistently reach a maximum of 30fps at 1080p or 1440p resolutions. Your CPU is running at around 99% utilization while the GPU is at 60%. It seems like the GPU might be the limiting factor. Consider checking if a slight overclock could improve performance. Let me know if you need further help!
On the AMD platform, there is no support for RXT or DLSS. Try using fidelity; however, it leads to crashes. The SMT has been edited, and now the CPU uses significantly more power than before. Performance varies greatly. FPS should improve as developers optimize and fine-tune the game. A patch is required to fix the issues with Lizzie.
Thanks for the assistance!
I managed to overclock to 4.8HGz and noticed a significant improvement. Now I can play the game with reasonable settings.
An upgrade is planned but not yet available; it seems 4 cores aren't sufficient for the latest game versions.
Good to hear that fixed. I was considering increasing the overclock, but in the game it's around 35-40% CPU, which is similar to what I usually play. It seems normal, though the game isn't optimized. It's stable so far, with no crashes or glitches really liking it. Running at 72fps on the AMD card.
I've kept the same configuration as before except using an evga 3080 with BIOS updated to 5.0ghz. I'm achieving over 60 fps at 2550x1440 with NVIDIA Optimized settings, which is essentially Ultra, RTX enabled, and DLSS Balanced. When DLSS is off, I get about half the frames.
I'm satisfied with the smooth performance and don't feel the need to upgrade the CPU since it wouldn't require a new motherboard. This setup already provides good results without the hassle of building another rig just to squeeze more frames.
