Configured a maximum frame rate in the console. It works similarly to setting max_fps 60 or fps_max 60—not necessarily 100%. You don’t need to hit exactly 60; usually I keep it higher than my PC can handle without any stutters. For me, it’s around 215fps. Just play around until you find the stable performance on your Mac, then lock it at that number so it doesn’t jump too high or drop often.

You're seeing extremely high frame rates, which can feel fast but might not be perceived as smooth. Most people consider 60 FPS to be around 10 FPS in real-world terms.

You're questioning the sudden change in the game's score from 290 to 100, finding it unusual. That shift is indeed noticeable and might be confusing.

You might have saved a file or performed an action. Perhaps a program is using a recorded method. Have you recently downloaded anything? Only a newer version arrived with a small miner, which caused your games to run poorly. It was bundled inside a PDF you received—be careful!

Here’s a simplified version:
First, it’s not too bad at all. Then, it’s typical, even for your equipment.
