The entire system begins to slow down, it reacts quickly but lags significantly, even the mouse becomes sluggish. Interestingly, my frame rate remains consistent around 80 frames per second (with the counter active), while everything appears to function smoothly at roughly 10 frames.
That doesn't seem to be the memory issue, even without any memory. The whole system would still slow down. Have you checked for a virus? You can run a scan with Malwarebytes or something similar. If the problem persists, consider formatting your computer—it might be a CPU issue.
I thought the same thing too, but the compiler is brand new. The formatted disk and Windows felt like it was running smoothly about three weeks ago. However, it was slow on the first day. Perhaps reinstalling Windows now and trying version 7 instead of 10 would help improve performance?
It seems like you're considering whether to upgrade or stick with the current setup. You might want to try installing a newer version, like 7 or 10, and see if it resolves the issue. If it doesn't improve on 10, keeping Windows 7 might be better despite its age and lack of support.
It's the only solution I've considered since 10 GB RAM is the bare minimum for it to function. I'll check if upgrading to 7 GB helps, and if not, I'll install Windows 7. The CPU keeps lagging even with everything running smoothly, and it's frustrating when a movie won't play. Thanks again for your patience.
It's quite unusual. That CPU performs exceptionally well for its cost and should handle games and movies without issues. If the issue continues, consider contacting the seller or the component suppliers for assistance. Keep up the good work and don't hesitate to reach out whenever you need help!
