So here's my problem when using something like cinebench or blender I'm not getting full performance. I know this chip can do 22-24.000 point in cinebench but I only gets 11.000 so I thought maybe my chip is not bosting correctly. And accordingly to task manager it says the clockspeed is 3.89 GHz. So I installed HWinfo to make sure if that's was correct. But this mystery continues to get more strange the P-Cores are running at 5.1 and the E-Core at 3.9 but this chip is not overclocked. And the temps are only 61-68° Celsius But I can see the chip sitting at 125w TDP is that the problem or what. I have tried to changed the power mode to high it didn't do anything. Is it Windows 22h2 or is my motherboard broken because the M.2_1 slot doesn't work either.

The motherboard might already be enforcing the 125w restriction, which could actually hinder performance during heavy multi-core tasks. You'll need to balance extra power and higher clock speeds against increased heat and temperatures. As per your concern, I'll verify the BIOS settings now to confirm if that's the cause of the 125w cap.

You might install Intel XTU and raise the power cap. That's what I did with my I7 9700. By default it reaches about 135W in Cinebench for 56 seconds, then falls to 75W. I can adjust it to 140W, which is the limit my cooler supports. However, I need to set it each time I boot. I've grown so accustomed to it that it no longer bothers me.

What model are you? I won’t say it’s an H610.

Haha, the Asus Z690-P WiFi is a solid choice!

The motherboard's support information can be found on its website under the model-specific section, or inside the box where you'll discover a manual with an index. Look for the CPU area and check the advanced settings for power and performance limits.
