I attempted the "Memory try it" feature in MSI Click BIOS 5 at 3200MHz, but it failed to boot. It seems I probably shouldn't use these drives after that.

Get hands-on with the manual adjustment instead of relying on automatic settings that rarely succeed. The Hynix manufacturer documentation provides everything you need.

Not worth the effort, thanks. Got a 32GB (two 16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL18. Even at average speeds, I'm fine with it.

Bruh atleast get ballistix cause it does 4000 cl16 with just a lazy overclock and all the way to 4500+ cl18 if you are willling to tune it Though if you got corsair rams just hope theyre samsung b die cause atleast even if you get meh b die it wont suck too bad for ocing, just gotta crank the volt cause meh b die is pretty meh (upto 1.7v is fine but 1.5v if you dont put a fan over your rams)

I’d definitely switch to a 3200mhz CL16. I also enjoy playing Rust and usually get around 110 to 140 fps. My setup includes an i9 9900k and an RTX 3090. Recently, I upgraded to the Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz CL16, which only improved my 3DMark score by about 50-100 points—still not worth the extra cost. If you’re in a similar situation, try mounting your GPU outside the PCI slot to check if temperatures drop. Lower temperatures on these cards really make a difference. Could you share your 3DMark score? That number reflects my new Corsair 3600mhz CL16 running at 1.4v.

You're getting a much better CPU score than expected with the same chip. What are your clock and voltage settings? Share your score!

I've just received the updated 3600 sticks. At current settings—quality level 5 out of 6, max render distance, no DLSS at 1440p—I'm seeing around 90-130fps. It feels much smoother and really makes a big difference!
