I’ll begin with my setup: 1080 Ti i7 7700K, 32GB RAM, 4K monitor. I really enjoy how shaders appear in Minecraft, but I usually cap at around 30 FPS, often settling near 20. I figured it was because I was running at 4K resolution. Then I came across a video and realized it’s entirely doable. Still wondering why I haven’t achieved higher performance. I’ve tried: boosting Minecraft RAM from 8GB to 16GB, updating Java to the latest, refreshing graphics drivers, installing Optifine, and experimenting with different shader packs. Any suggestions? I really question if he's testing it in 4K and hasn't accessed the F3 console to verify concerns.

I share the same view as @Br3tt96; it's unlikely he's achieving 4K quality.

I saw more videos too, and that guy with a 1080 Ti and 4K Ultrawide actually managed about 10 FPS more than me—30 to 40 FPS. That’s interesting since I’m at 30-40 FPS myself. Odd that even when I play the game in 1080p, my speed stays similar. Surprisingly, I was expecting a drop to around 60 FPS or more. Thanks for your advice!
