Over the last couple of months my frame rate has been fluctuating between 10 and 30, occurring more often. I've adjusted to older graphics drivers initially, but the issue resurfaced. I attempted a complete driver reinstall using DDU, which helped temporarily, though it failed again yesterday. My system specs include Windows 10 Pro 64-bit z690 MSI Pro with an i7-12700K, 2x16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V at 3600MHz running at 3400MHz, paired with a MSI Ventus 3X 3080 and a WD Black SN750 2TB SSD, along with Corsair RM850X. Benchmarks indicate low GPU performance.

Check GPU performance metrics using GPU-Z. Review clock speeds, temperatures, voltages, and other stats. Confirm if any adjustments were made in Afterburner.

I installed GPU-Z and encountered the error A. Previously, I adjusted voltage and clock speed to improve stability, but it turned out memory was likely the issue. The GPU has remained in its default configuration for several months now.

I restarted and GPU-Z is functioning properly now. Here are the idle readings while playing FIFA 23 at solid performance. I’ll take another screenshot when FPS drops back to 10–30.

Those measurements are ideal for a 3080.

No problems noticed, though I'm not entirely sure.
