Your Ryzen 7 2700 is experiencing issues and it seems like the EDC is reaching its maximum performance of 99%. The suggested fix was adjusting the power plan, but that didn’t help. I’ve also tried other settings without success. Your PC can handle newer games but isn’t running smoothly. Any suggestions or a straightforward solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Performance isn't affected by these settings. High CPU temperatures cause throttling, reducing speed. Keeping RAM at the default 2133MHz is better for efficiency. Could you share your system details and any overclocking plans?

Well, you could run some benchmarks and compare the results to others with similar hardware to see if you're performance is as it should be. I recommend 3DMark Firestrike and Timespy. As for free benchmarking games, Shadow of the tomb raider has a free demo that contains a benchmark. Also, there's a free demo of Doom (2016). For CPU performance, there's Cinebench R20. Are you using the latest Chipset drivers from AMD? The latest motherboard bios?
