I've experienced this problem for about six months. It happens when downloading a game, I notice lag on Discord—like 5000 ping, but I can hear myself but not the others. In games, I also face random lag. In Fortnite, I experience packet loss every ten seconds, which is unusual. I’m using Ethernet with a cable under the house, which has been in place for over two years. I’m unsure if the cable is damaged or if there’s dust in the router port. I’ve attached an image of my download and upload speeds for reference.

Connect via a different Ethernet cable to the router or gateway and check for improvements.

I don’t have any more options, the only one I own is the 25m version I’m currently using.

To check the cable's condition, you need to run Ethernet in areas beneath your home. If it's not well protected, rodents or other pests might damage it. Also, consider restarting the router or gateway and make sure the Ethernet connections at both ends are thoroughly cleaned.

I'll attempt the cleaning process; if not, I might consider purchasing a new cable.
