I suspect my performance in games isn’t matching others with similar hardware, possibly just me. A big issue is GTA—right now I’m stuck at around 2 frames per second. It seems to jump between smooth moments and total freeze, making it feel like it’s running at a fraction of the speed. This isn’t just about closing background apps or adjusting settings; it’s a specific problem that shouldn’t prevent high settings from working. I’ve played the game before without issues, so this isn’t a general setup problem.

Is the game set to the simplest options? Does it have single-channel RAM? Are you installing Windows from scratch? Use Firestrike or another test and check your performance. See how it stacks against comparable CPUs/GPUs. Consider placing a fan near your VRM if you suspect throttling.

However, this setup might reduce efficiency since the components are housed in separate SMD packages. Moreover, if not required, manufacturers would likely use only the necessary parts, which could result in higher heat output even at lower CPU usage compared to other boards.
