Hi everyone, I recently swapped my Ryzen 5 3600 for a 5600X. It’s interesting to see how performance varies under stress tests—CPU-Z, Prime95, and Cinebench show high core usage with temps around 65-70°C, while Apex Legends stays cooler at 65-77°C in the room. My setup uses a Hyper 212 Black Edition with six Arctic P12 PWM fans, and the ambient temperature is between 30-37°C. The temps seem normal given the heatsink and room conditions.
Ryzen's boost feature behaves oddly, yet since only a few cores are active during games, it operates at higher voltage and clock speeds. It's not unusual. On my setup (water cooled 5900X), in RDR2 it reaches around 75°C at peak, while in Prime95 it stays in the high 60s. Your temps are reasonable, so you shouldn't be too concerned.
Those surrounding temperatures are quite acceptable, no major concerns here.
They're okay as long as it's not too close to 90 degrees. As long as it stays warm but not excessively high, it's alright.
