Performance in a challenging warzone environment is disappointing.
Hello, I own an RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM, 3700x clock speed, PBO turned on, 3200MHz RAM, a Seasonic 750W gold PSU, and I've installed Codecs on a Kingston NVMe. As shown in the video, regardless of the display settings—whether 2560x1080 or 1440p—I consistently see FPS ranging from around 60 to 90. When my GPU usage spikes unpredictably, the performance drops significantly. PXL_20250410_002817906.TS.mp4
I see no issues here. FPS and GPU usage changes are typical when there are constraints somewhere, such as CPU, RAM, or game engine limits. My 9800X3D and RTX 4080 also show significant fluctuations in certain games.
About half are at full capacity, and I’m guessing the remaining are discussion threads?
It doesn't mean your CPU isn't a bottleneck just because it's not running at full capacity. It can appear slow even when operating at 60% usage, as it may struggle to perform efficiently. Other elements like game optimization can also play a role. Even with the fastest CPU available, poor game tuning might limit performance, causing your GPU to receive insufficient workload. The 3700x may not keep up with newer systems, especially in competitive or high-performance scenarios.
