I've never grasped this but it's been occurring on a few games for a couple of months. They frequently crash when using stock settings, but after applying my overclock they rarely fail—just occasionally, which is what I expect when buying a 5700 XT. Anyone else have similar experiences or know the reason? The system setup is MSI B450 Tomahawk Max Ryzen 5 3600 OC to 4.2 at 1.3125 in Ryzen Master, cooled by a DarkRock Slim 32GB of 3600mhz CL16 Ripjaws V from Gigabyte, with the OC set to "2150mhz" and +50% VRAM power because my VRAM temperatures are already too high. Powered by a BeQuiet DarkPower 11 850w Platinum.

Jayztwocents mentioned a comparable problem where a CPU fails unless it's overclocked. It seems he didn't clarify the reason behind it.
