I’ll be upfront about the new memory kit. It’s a very affordable option, but I’m not sure how they validated a 22cl at Jedec to achieve CL 16 at XMP. That probably just means it’s the cheapest available, which might be why you’re having trouble.

I just put in my old RAM and performance problems are back. Could be the CPU memory controller is damaged?

They weren't affordable in terms of cost. The performance is terrible with high input lag, and the graphics are now poor due to the outdated RAM. It seems like the CPU controller might have been damaged by what you're suggesting.

It's conceivable, though unlikely. I've tested 1.9v across various high-speed clocks and settings. Something else might be causing these problems.
