At 3440*1440 it's improbable he'll locate a game where his CPU is more restrictive than his GPU.

In fact, even in the resolution I'm experiencing "issues" (only operating at 45/50fps with occasional drops). At 4K, 3440x1440 I consistently reach 60 frames smoothly. Beyond that level it's not possible either.
