My RTX 4090 is behaving oddly. In Minecraft at 2K I see over 300 FPS, but Elden Ring lags between 15-17 FPS even with basic settings. Dota 2 runs smoothly between 120-160 FPS, while Cyberpunk 2077 stays steady at about 8 FPS. When I switch to Linux with the same specs, Elden Ring performs well at full settings with a solid 60 FPS. It seems the issue isn't the CPU, as performance looks strong. 3DMark scores show the GPU is healthy, but RAM and storage configurations might be affecting results.
I'm uncertain about this, but I believe I should begin with a standard Windows setup. Before launching the installation, I'd like to format the drive so it's ready for Windows. However, if you still want to use the "Reset this PC" option, that might be a better starting point.
I updated Windows, added the graphics cards, restarted, but performance remains poor. Around 4 frames per second on 3DMark and about 230 frames per second in Minecraft at 1440p with standard textures.
I've completed Furmark and 3Dmark evaluations for you. Furmark: https://www.gpumagick.com/scores/show.php?id=3012 3DMark: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/97909111 Separate stress tests on CPU and Ray Tracing show stable performance, with average scores in 3DMark.
Are you trying to install the adrenaline software for your AMD onboard, and might there be a driver issue?
