Hello, I’d appreciate your thoughts and any assistance you can offer. Your setup includes a Ryzen 7 2700 at 4.1 GHz, an Aio Cooled RTX3090, Crosshair Hero VI with 16GB RAM at 3000MHz. I’m wondering if something is missing or if the performance isn’t meeting expectations for the games you mentioned—Cyberpunk, MSFS2020, and Ghostwire Tokyo. Currently, I struggle to maintain steady frames around 40, especially in demanding titles, and the GPU usage is usually between 30-40%. The CPU seems adequate but not powerful enough for the RTX3090 at full load. Overall, I’d like to see an improvement in FPS, particularly with GTA V which currently caps at about 60 FPS.
It varies by game; I usually push for top performance but also experimented with lower or mid settings, using ray tracing or adjusting resolution. Resolution has little impact, and even at minimum it doesn’t match expectations. I also followed the recommended GeForce Experience settings. PSU is a quiet 11W power supply, and the monitor is a Samsung LC24RG54.
The GPU handles those bench runs smoothly, while the CPU is working efficiently beyond expectations. However, performance in actual games still seems subpar.
