I increased my Corsair 2x16GB DDR5 5200MHz to 6000MHz CL40 and it runs smoothly on testmem5. The motherboard is an Asus Tuf Gaming B650 with a Ryzen 7 7600X. I've adjusted the docp settings. Boot times are now very long, the DRAM LED stays lit for about 40 seconds before the system finally starts. People suggest enabling MemoryContextRestore and PowerDownEnable, but those changes cause BSODs during Windows initialization and lots of errors on Testmem5. Any advice? Thanks.
Share image of the thaiphoon burner to confirm. Also attach photos of the BIOS settings covering both voltages and RAM timings, including any manual adjustments. As you mentioned, ensure everything is correctly set—don’t let it retrain unexpectedly. If needed, refer to an OC profile for your specific chip; copying it in should work well. You can also lower the frequency slightly to retune, but re-tuning is usually more reliable. Aim for a 6200-6400 MHz clock speed for 1:1 UCLK (this seems to be the current standard for Zen4).
You're starting out with overclocking! Just loaded the DOCP tweak and set the memory to its highest stable frequency. You can definitely try increasing the voltage, but be careful—make sure your system supports it and it won't damage anything.
