Performance drops in Cinebench r20 for Ryzen 5 2600x
I tested Cinebench r20 locally on my Ryzen 5 2600x and got a score of 2843. However, online results show it’s around 3150. It seems like the difference might come from the benchmark version or system settings. I’m using the default cooler, but temperatures were stable during testing. Let me know if you need further troubleshooting!
I own an ASRock B450M HDV R4 motherboard. Equipped with a Ryzen 5 2600X, an RX 580 8GB, a 600W Thermaltake PSU, 500GB SSD, one 1TB HDD, two intake fans, and two exhaust fans.
I turned off all background applications and performed a fresh Windows installation. I have 3000MHz RAM. Appreciate your help!
I've repeated the process several times and consistently received the same result. Appreciate the reply.
Yes, upgrading to 16GB should likely improve your performance and scores.
It’s probably more effective to upgrade with a quicker RAM module and a 16GB storage option.
