He seems overly enthusiastic about things. I own the same motherboard, and it works well. The second M.2 slot being Gen3 is a B550 model, not an ASRock variant. All B550 boards will support this. If you truly need both slots to be Gen4, you’ll have to upgrade to an x570 board. Generally, there aren’t many Gen4 SSDs available yet, but if you purchase one, it’s acceptable. The second M.2 drive is probably intended for storage purposes. Gen3 should suffice for that. In short, if your budget stays under $150 for a motherboard, you’re unlikely to need two Gen4 drives soon, so it doesn’t matter much.
