Hello, I'm dealing with a strange issue where my PC slows down after waking up from sleep. This began after updating the BIOS and installing several components: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX (rev. 1.2), Ryzen 5 7600x RTX 4070 Corsair rm750e, G.SKILL 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Trident Z5, NEO AMD EXPO - CL30-38-38-96, and a voltage of 1.35V (Expo1). I also used ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO, Samsung 970 EVO PLUS, and Kingston NV2 2 TB drives. The boot driver was set in M.2A and M.2B slots, and I installed a Windows 11 Pro installation (version 10.0.22621). The BIOS was changed from F9d to F20 via the Gigabyte Control Center, then manually updated to F21, but the problem persists.

I suspect it might be connected to the new AGESA version. Anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing this? Thanks in advance for your help.

What was the basis for this figure? Was it a calculated benchmark or an estimate? I’m eager to understand how it came about.

Problem fixed by going back to the F9 BIOS version. Likely related to the newer AGESA release. Let me know if this assists.

The value is hard to grasp but it's close, yes. I relied on BF 2042 for the test, and I noticed my FPS shifting significantly in other titles too. In the menu, my average stays near 170 FPS, but in BIOS versions F20 and F21 it barely changed until I powered down the machine. When I restarted, it dropped to about 130 FPS, with in-game averages hovering around 130 to a low 90s after waking up (same map – Conquest Redacted spawn). One observation is that CPU usage after turning on the PC in these newer BIOS versions never went past 80%, whereas it usually stayed between 80-90% during games. This was unusual. GPU usage stayed consistent. I applied optimized settings after each BIOS update, kept the Expo1 profile, and maintained a constant -0.120V undervolt. There was also an instance where my PC refused to boot after waking from sleep with the DRAM LED on, which resolved after a restart but still left me puzzled about how BIOS affects everything.
