I was adjusting my Windows for improved speed. After finishing, I tried Valorant and noticed my FPS dropped significantly from 500-700 to around 90-200, with CPU and GPU latency increasing from 1-2 to 10. I've been tweaking and uninstalling Windows components for years without such problems.
I performed some benchmarks on 3Dmark and my score was slightly lower than expected, but after removing SystemExplorer from my system (one of the changes I made), the score returned to normal. The other games I tested performed as usual, except for Valorant. There was a minor update to Valorant, but it was too small to download and took just one second. My friend didn’t experience any issues after the update.
The adjustments I made involved disabling only certain services and reverting them, and I also removed telemetry data, which shouldn’t have impacted gaming performance.
DDU graphics drivers completely clear the cache and other settings before reinstalling. Show all specifications. If reinstalling fails, consider using the system file checker command. Because I'm unsure about all the steps you've taken or avoided, a system reset or full wipe reinstall could be necessary. I hope DDU works for you.
I attempted DDU and reinstalling drivers, but the issue persists. I've already tried system scan commands without success. It seems like a Riot decision. Here are the specs:

Updating might lead to different outcomes for various users based on their operating system, update stage, driver versions, and installed applications. It's quite unpredictable to pinpoint exactly what will happen. I just hope it's a matter of time before you see the results, and don't worry about missing out on FPS performance.
I submitted a ticket to Riot asking if they if it's an issue many have. I hope it's something they can fix. And yes many people play on 100-200 fps, so it's not unplayable at all. Just takes a bit to get used to.
I have two SSDs in my system. Would it be possible to use the unused one, install Windows there, test Valorant on it, and then reinstall the actual Windows on the other SSD without issues? I understand you could format the other SSD and reuse it as a backup.
When using Windows 10 with an Intel CPU from the 12th generation or newer, the E-cores might not be fully used by Windows and could be assigned to Valorant, which is nearly single-core. This may lead to performance issues. You might want to disable E-cores and check if frame rates become more stable.
