You've moved to a powerline Ethernet and noticed some input lag remains. A full driver reinstall might help. Think it could be effective?

Avoid expecting the outcome to affect your mouse actions. Keep the resource monitor active and observe whether any other events occur while you input data. For instance, I notice lag in modded Minecraft when the Java garbage collector frees RAM.
