Hello, the game isn't running smoothly on stable FPS. It freezes every few seconds for about half a second before resuming. After checking the MSI afterburner GPU usage graph, the percentage dropped to zero. I've tried switching between DX11 and DX12, set the lowest possible settings, adjusted every option in the launcher, and even capped FPS with the afterburner to 60 and 30. However, freezes still occurred, dropping from 30 FPS down to 20, even though I usually get around 70 FPS on high settings. My system specs are an Intel Xeon i5-4690K with 8GB RAM in dual-channel memory, and my GPU temperature is between 60-65°C. Usage remains at 100%, while CPU stays at 50-60°C with only 50% usage. Previously, I finished Control on a very high preset without issues.

Have you attempted disabling Windows 10 Game Mode—Settings > Gaming > Game Mode and setting it to off? Some players have experienced game freezes, especially with certain AMD graphics cards. Refer to the articles below for more details: https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly...s-10-free/ and https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/mi...ps-issues/. Your GPU has 4GB VRAM, and high-resolution textures may exceed this, leading to performance problems.
