Hi, your performance problems with FPS drops and stuttering in PUBG and COD began early this year. Your setup includes an older PC with Core i7-1700G, 16GB RAM, and an Intel HD 1060 GPU. When frames drop, the CPU reaches maximum usage. It runs smoothly for work and browsing but not during gaming. Upgrading the chipset might help, but it could also depend on other factors. Let me know if you'd like more details!

This i7 2600 model is quite outdated nowadays. Upgrading to a Ryzen 3600 would be a major change, needing a new motherboard and RAM.

It looks like the i7 2600 is the lowest-end processor. The RAM speed also plays a key role in games such as PUGBG. Make sure to verify it if possible.
