There have been several game updates since the issue started. Since I can't connect with anyone facing the same problem, I think it might not be related to recent patches. I have the newest drivers installed, but I'm downloading my GPU now. It seems unlikely this is the cause either.

If the driver fix doesn’t work, the upgrade to Windows 10 might be the solution.

I wasn't experiencing any issues until about a month back. All my other games were working perfectly. It seems there might be a solution now.
