Hey everyone, I've been noticing a lot of framedrops in CS:GO recently. It happened soon after I reached 200+ FPS on every map. I don’t know what’s behind these issues. My setup includes an i5 4690k and an MSI R9 280 (overlocked), so it shouldn’t be the main cause. Temperatures are normal—GPU stays under 72°C, CPU around 56°C—and I keep FPS locked at 120, though it sometimes drops to 90, making things feel sluggish. My PC runs smoothly with BF4 at 60+ FPS without any problems. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

Some developers use VSync for smooth screen rendering in CS:GO.

Are your graphics card or processor pushed beyond their limits? If yes, consider resetting them back to factory settings, since components can lose performance over time.

I'm planning to try it out now, downloading at 400Kb/s. Who relies on VSync in CS? The CPU isn't being overclocked, only the GPU is. Since my GPU is just a few months old, I suspect that's not the main issue. I'm still on 15.4 beta. I haven't checked all maps yet, but especially the new operation maps seem to have problems.
