My 2013 laptop might be experiencing thermal throttling, currently running at 79°C during games. When I power on the machine and launch a game instantly, Roblox on a game that’s unplayable suddenly becomes functional with an average of 30-40 FPS instead of the usual 10-20 FPS. The hardware includes an Intel Pentium B (2 cores, 2 threads), a Nvidia GT630M GPU with 1GB VRAM, and a DRDR3 6G memory. I’ve adjusted settings using the latest BIOS and the Nvidia control panel for better performance. However, even with high performance modes enabled, the graphics settings still default to an integrated GPU. CPU usage stays between 76-79°C at low loads and 80-100% during intense gaming, though lag appears after a few minutes.
