That's a good point. It seems the focus should be on individual core performance rather than overall usage. A few cores maxed doesn't match the observation. Also, what are your CPU and GPU temperatures?

Excellent setup, no overheating issues detected. GPU reaches its limit around 60°C in Minecraft, while the CPU stays at about 45°C.

That's not it then. So what graphs are maxed in afterburner?

core clock and MHz usage are at their maximum. What does that utilization limit mean?

Upgrading to an AMD FX-8370E will significantly enhance your system's speed. Although it requires an investment, it results in a well-rounded setup that allows your GTX 970 to perform better.

I think the issue is with the processor itself—it’s quite old, possibly nearing the end of its life. Using my friend's CPU from years ago has made it behave strangely. I’m expecting a new Xeon E3 1231 V3 3.8GHz Quad Core soon, which should resolve the problem. If not, I’ll share this again and update you. Thanks a lot for your support!

Yes, it looks like you're looking for another MOBO as well.
