That's a good point. It seems the focus should be on individual core performance rather than overall usage. A few cores maxed doesn't match the observation. Also, what are your CPU and GPU temperatures?

I think the issue is with the processor itself—it’s quite old, possibly nearing the end of its life. Using my friend's CPU from years ago has made it behave strangely.
