I own a 256GB HP Z Turbo Drive G2 for booting up. I prefer keeping it tidy. It runs Windows and a couple of CAD programs that need fast access. Recently it became much fuller, so I used WinDirStat. It showed my RAM dump is about 49.1 GB. My page file sits at 21 GB on the F drive (though it's actually on the C drive), leaving only around 40 GB remaining—which isn’t great. Disk Cleanup doesn’t remove them, and I can’t just delete them because Windows blocks that. I tried restarting, but nothing changed. Any suggestions on clearing them out?

To turn off hibernation completely, disable it entirely so Windows deletes hiberfil.sys. (Normal S3 sleep remains functional.) You can access the power settings through the control panel, but using an elevated command prompt is quicker: powercfg /hibernate off. If you wish to reactivate hibernation later, run powercfg /hibernate on.
