I'm going through a clean install on my new rig and it's stuck on the loading splashscreen with the wheel spinning. Here are the specs: http://speedcap.net/sharing/files/7b/1b/...8c4f5e.png This is what the screen looks like, not my photo.

It could be that the disk is struggling to read data, possibly due to age or wear. The lack of light from the read head suggests the issue might not be with the drive itself but with its ability to detect information.

Consider using a USB installation method. Get the tool to create the installer here.

Normal loading time varies, but 10 minutes is generally considered on the longer side for a USB boot.

It requires a significant amount since it's essentially installing a minimalized version of the operating system into memory.

I had to pause it around the 20-minute mark since I needed to leave. It’s been running again for about 20 minutes now. Any guess on how long to wait?

EDIT: Checking the debug LED, codes were flashing 33 and 34. The manual says 32–36 means early CPU initialization—this sounds normal.

I handled it myself. I changed to UEFI and it functioned immediately.
