I assembled my initial PC a short time ago and noticed several issues. My headset drops out of connection, the keyboard and mouse behave only when connected to certain ports. It seems the problem might be with the mouse, but I’m trying to avoid assuming user mistakes before contacting support. My internet speed is 100/20, which makes smooth streaming to Discord difficult, and the GPU was quite unstable during setup. Updating drivers often causes crashes. I’d like a thorough inspection of all ports and hardware, but I’m unsure if that’s something like a USB tester or a motherboard diagnostic tool. Edited July 29, 2023 by MattEr0710
I'm not sure... Attempt to connect several USB devices, such as thumb drives, mice, keyboards, and plug them into one port sequentially. Observe whether most fail to be recognized by the PC. If most do, the port appears functional.
This means you haven’t installed the motherboard chipset or other necessary drivers yet. First, download the appropriate drivers from the manufacturer’s support site for your board. Also, obtain the latest BIOS updates and install them. You’ll find BIOS setup guides on the BIOS page.
