Simplifies the process of loading screens and Windows quickly—possibly even faster. I can switch to Windows and open my browser within 12 seconds after the POST screen, as confirmed by timing.

If he’s only going to play Overwatch, I’d eliminate the hard drive and opt for a 240GB SSD instead. It should provide sufficient storage and better performance while lasting longer.

I found this atm: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-25-ips-...Id=5386143. It supports 1920 x 1080 resolution. Your brother might enjoy it too.

The review highlights performance comparisons between the G4560 and a 1050 Ti processor when both are used in an OW Maxed configuration at 1080p resolution.

Would the 1050 TI handle any issues? My friends said it wasn't great, but they couldn't back it up.

That implies...(corrected for clarity) your brother should handle it smoothly on ultra/high performance with little to no issues.

Back then, I would caution folks against 1050 Tis since upgrading for $20 could boost performance by 30% with an RX 470. Nowadays, anything faster than a 1050 Ti is either out of stock or priced above $500, making it the top choice. Don't take claims like "this card breaks after two years" seriously—they rarely happen. The MSI model still works well.

Thanks. Your brother enjoys chatting with friends via Skype while gaming. The processor shouldn't impact either gameplay or voice communication directly.

This CPU should keep things smooth, especially with a browser, game, and voice chat active. It might drop frames if you play the game alongside streaming on Twitch, which can be quite demanding.
