I recently switched to a 6700XT and a Ryzen 5 3600X. Is this pairing good? I've seen online that a CPU around 3600X might slow down a 6700XT. Even though the 3600X is a solid mid-range chip, there are concerns about bottlenecks.

I ran Ark "Just Fine" on a 4790k and GTX970. keep in mind that "just fine" has a completely different meaning in Ark compared to everyday use—it’s not about performance at all. Optimization is just a joke, and there are tons of bugs.

A solid mid-range option would be the 7600 series or the newer 7800 series CPUs. They offer improved performance and efficiency compared to the 3600X while staying within a reasonable budget.

For optimal gaming, go with the 5600(X). For top performance, consider the 5800X3D. Before upgrading your CPU, check if your system is limited by it in Ark. Otherwise, you might be investing in something that offers little real benefit.
