Hello im having a problem with the fans in my fiancé's pc being exstremely loud when its under just a bit of load not sure why they are so loud like i can hear them on the other end of the house in a 84 square meter house the gpu also sounded like a jet engine half of the time i fixed that with msi afterburner not sure why for some reason it kept going from 400 mem mhz to suddenly 7200 mem mhz in an instant and gpu 400 to think it was 2000 mhz so now wanna ask do any of you have a software or an idea as to why the fan's in the pc are so loud if i had to take a guess i would think its the aio fans cause sounding like it comes from the top of the pc where the aio radiator sits

How long has it been since you last gave it a clean?

I didn't notice the specific components in the system.

We recently purchased it, and the seller had cleaned it. I also checked—there’s dust present. I dusted it myself for safety, and it’s a desktop.

The program should provide feedback on fan performance, such as speed levels or noise patterns. It may indicate whether fans are running at full capacity, sounding loud, or producing a choppy vibration. Check for connections to PWM headers or Molex inputs on the motherboard—those offer speed control, which can help identify issues. Inspect fins for damage; missing blades can cause uneven noise. If fans sound consistently whiny, it might be due to aging and could be replaced.

It seems they operate at high speed around 80% most of the time, even when playing games. We set the volume low, but it still runs fast. It appears the fans aren't broken, and the connection to the motherboard is confirmed. The issue might be with the PWM headers.

They fluctuate rapidly in pace continuously.

It seems like it might work well to use Fan Control for Speedfan, both free versions, and adjust the fan curve slightly less aggressively. As long as temperatures stay under control, it should be okay. The noise could also come from vibrations transmitted through the floor or desk; adding rubber feet might help reduce that. I’d experiment with the fan curves to check if temperatures remain stable at a lower speed.

I plan to experiment with the fan curve since the PC is on a wooden table and the case has rubber feet.

It's likely the RPM or curve setting affected how the software performed, making it run slower at a lower percentage RPM.
