They warn against purchasing the 9800X3D as it may fail. However, it has only 100 cases and most are available on the ASROCK site. Consider buying it but avoid any 9800X3D unless you're certain about the model.

He claimed to have a solution but didn't check if it actually worked. Avoid purchasing ASRock motherboards and the corresponding CPUs, since AMD offers a vast selection—pick one with proven reliability.

I haven't come across any case where the Asrock board was mentioned.

This version removes about 90% of the issues, just a slight adjustment if you're concerned.

It seems there were instances where users experienced problems, mostly due to mistakes or external factors like overheating, thermal paste seepage, power supply issues, etc. The only documented motherboard models with known issues were premium Asrock boards, while lower-end models were less affected, though similar problems could occur with other brands.

Just to be sure... Avoid purchasing an AsRock board? Would you think it’s okay to feel confident knowing you won’t damage your CPU, even if another brand offers similar capabilities?

I received a 9800X3D that was boosted from 5.2GHz stock to 5.6GHz. It runs on an ASUS motherboard, and I’m completely fine with it.

It’s understandable—those boards are basic and lack the latest updates. No worries if you’re concerned, just avoid overcomplicating things. The issues mentioned were mainly due to user mistakes and a poor PBO setup, both of which appear fixed now.
