EV Nova remains one of my favorite games overall, but the lack of voice acting makes it feel more like reading than playing. Recently, I’ve noticed people often focus more on the software aspects rather than the gameplay itself, which still lets me dedicate 20 hours a week to it.

They focus on console resolutions since you can't match your screen or TV's native display, and a steady frame rate is essential for enjoying the game. I enjoy playing games on PC at medium settings even though I usually go ultra, because I don’t want to spend time fine-tuning settings as long as it runs smoothly at native resolution and 60 fps without looking bad.

Experienced the same feeling now that I've logged 20 hours in GTA V... It seems most titles since the PS4/XboxOne launch aren't particularly strong, likely because they're spread across multiple platforms. This is the first year since 2013 when I'm genuinely excited about many games. The titles I'm planning to buy this year are: Star Wars Battlefront, Batman Arkham, Knight of the Ring, The Witcher 3, GTA V, The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, Mortal Kombat X, Tekken 7, and Project Cars.
