I enjoyed them before they became overly competitive and quick. In the past, when there wasn’t a jungler in LoL, things were simpler. Today, everyone seems focused on trying to stand out among thousands just to win something meaningful, plus everything moves so rapidly. Still, it feels like the most popular games these days prioritize speed over strategy and intelligence. Off-topic: I believed China was restricting itself from the internet? No freedom of speech, that’s for sure, so people shouldn’t be forced into having opinions without choice.
There was indeed some news about someone attempting to harm a victim who died in the game. It’s strange how such actions can be so compelling and lead people to do things they wouldn’t normally consider. I believe the same issue would exist in the EU if individuals were more connected.
Someone might say the games need a compelling narrative rather than just action and conflict.
The engaging aspect of any task usually hinges on your character and the environment you're in—whether it's with friends, family, or colleagues. The "addictive" element tends to be weaker since you'll likely invest more time in other activities rather than just your computer. If priorities are aligned, games like MOBA, Paragon, Warcraft III, and Dota 2 work well, and you enjoy the experience.
