Old systems keep people around for a while. For instance, I run multiple versions of Windows—8.1, 10, and Linux Mint "Serena"—for several years.

It could be argued that Windows 10 performs worse than Windows 7 for various reasons, some based on personal experiences and others supported by evidence.

I see no reason to move to OS which breaks every 3-6 months.

Many people steer clear of it because they feel it's intrusive. Some individuals dislike the mandatory updates, and this one connects to my experience. On my computer I keep Windows 7 since Windows 10 often pushes outdated drivers, and because of AMD, those drivers don't function well.

I’m really satisfied with my Windows 7 setup. Upgrading to 10 doesn’t seem necessary since XP is no longer supported. I just signed with that grumpy person who doesn’t change for anyone.

Windows 10 works smoothly for me. DX 12 looks nicer, it gets support from Microsoft, you can log in with an MS account, Ubuntu is available inside Windows 10 via the store, and device management is accessible through the web.
