Pentium G3258 OC'ed to 4ghz, but operating at 5ghz on a desktop?
I'm using an MSI H81M-P33 with the stock CPU cooler. I overclocked my CPU to 4.0 GHz in BIOS, but when I'm running the desktop and checking Task Manager, it shows the CPU clocking around 5 GHz. Despite this, my system runs smoothly with stable temperatures between 50-53°C and no crashes. It's a bit confusing, and I'm not sure what might be causing this discrepancy. Any advice or information you have would be really helpful.
Huh, that's a bit odd how to fix it, right? And could you share some tips on observing then? 😛
