I'm trying to keep things polite but clear about what's happening. Modern games really rely on four cores for smooth performance, especially for demanding titles. If you're looking for something stable in the future, I expect more games to require that level of power. While DX12 is a good option, it might not cover everything you need. Games like BF4 and GTA V are quite CPU-intensive, so having a system with at least four cores will be important. Your I3 4150 should handle the workload, but you'll definitely notice better performance if you upgrade to something more capable.

The contrast is sharp with a top-end Pentium you easily crushed the I3, a rockstar that’s just a mediocre company...

Many documents mention the g3258 experiencing stutter in GTA 5. Even the 860k version offers improved performance despite lower average FPS.

i3 performs better than g3258 because it supports hyper threads.
