The PDF symbols on my Windows machine have recently shifted. My usual tool to view PDFs is Firefox, which means the icon was the one associated with Firefox. I prefer that arrangement and would like it restored. I attached a screenshot of the current PDF icon so you can see its appearance now. I've already attempted fixes such as reinstalling Firefox and clearing the cache, but nothing has helped. Using another program as my default doesn't change the icon as expected (for example, Chrome displays the PDF icon correctly). Also, in the registry path you mentioned, all extensions show the same value, yet .html files seem to render the icon properly—this suggests it's not a missing icon issue.
