I own a Nitro ANV15-51 with a thunderbolt 4 port (as mentioned in the user manual), mostly using it closed and linked to an external monitor via HDMI. I’ve been satisfied with this configuration, but I’m considering purchasing a Type C dock to connect external drives or switch monitors. My concern is whether connecting my laptop to its Thunderbolt 4 port while having the dock (with a 100W PD charger plugged in) connected to the laptop’s port would cause a short circuit. Please let me know if this sounds unclear—I’m unsure how else to explain it.
