To a brief note. The situation changes based on how long you keep the GPU alive—like the GTX 680 lasting longer than the HD 7970 because it didn’t hit VRAM limits while the 680 struggled. Another thing is, with the 3070, a top card shouldn’t have to cut settings just to play games smoothly without lag.

I'm mainly discussing whether you already have one. Yes, I think getting a new one right now might not be the best idea unless you mainly play indie games. I'm just hoping to make it last at least a year on my 3070, but who knows?

They resolved the problem linked to the motherboard BIOS, which wasn't limited to X3D chips, by deploying a newer BIOS version. lmfao

It's been seven years since that discussion. Are you suggesting a GTX 580 could run AAA titles on ultra in 2018 when the 2080 was still new? Lmao. No top GPU has ever lasted that long. The 7900XTX will be about seven years from now compared to today’s 7900XTX.

XX70 cards fall in the middle tier. They haven't been considered premium before.

Seventy cards sit two levels away from the top tier usually. They don’t belong to the middle range. The strong players are similar to a 3060.

You addressed the query correctly—it's all about the process. Cyberpunk often appears unappealing, merely a lackluster "AAA" with most resources spent on marketing.
